Defining Success

The first step in creating an instructional technology program review is to establish indicators or benchmarks for what you expect is exemplary use of technology to support teaching and learning.  In the Sun Associates program review process, the creation of indicators is a collaborative process among district stakeholders -- teachers, administrators, community members, students and others – to define success.  These definitions, known as indicators, then form the basis for evaluation and assessment of how the district has implemented its instructional technology environment.

On this page you will find a set of sample indicators along with a range of information that is supportive of developing indicators for the exemplary use of technology to support teaching and learning.
